Lettering and Numbering BritKits Steam

Unread postby munkelwitz » Thu Jul 16, 2015 12:29 pm

I've worked with Britkits diesels and all has worked well. I'd like to tackle steam, but would first like to read some documentation as to what is required on my part, and also what extras I might need for Rutland and B&M repaints (I've downloaded the B&M tender logo referenced elsewhere here). Can someone please point me to a "how to", or perhaps the documentation that comes with the kits is so straightfoward that I should just take the plunge. I sent this request to Dick at BritKits as well. Thanks in advance.

Also, if I successfully reletter, can I easily add the repaint file to the free downloads here?

Believe me, if I can get it to work, anybody can *!lol!* It looks daunting, but if you just go into a free roam scenerio, place a loco and experiment following the instructions that Dick provides with each model, it becomes quite easy.

What I then did was look at the list provided that detailed what letter combination constituted what RR and then reskinned one of those I didnt want to cover for New Haven, including buying some font, for Michaels wonderful VNHRR. I have even posted soem questions here when I was experimenting because I was having issue with the display on the tender, but it was resolved. Search for topics from me.

!*cheers*!
