USRA 4-8-2 Derailing on Use and Other Small Issues

Unread postby Bananimal » Wed Jan 07, 2015 4:08 am

Hi Richard.

The 4-8-2 Heavy is currently unusable for me. If I load this loco in a scenario by itself or pulling a consist, once I get up to about 22 m.p.h. the trailing bogie under the cab moves off of the tracks and the loco derails. Would you be able to take a look at it to see if you are seeing the same thing on your end?

Also, the 2-6-0 lifts the pilot wheels off of the rails and stays that way when pulling a heavy load. Kind of strange looking.

I must admit, I was on the fence about purchasing so many locos from you, but I love steam so I took the chance. Let me tell you, these locos are quite impressive in the sim. I love them. With the exception of a few small niggling issues, great job on these. Running mountain passes with these bad boys is just what the doctor ordered in TS2015. !!*ok*!!

I’ve been having the same issue with both the light and heavy Mountains. Tried different version of the locomotive on different routes with different consists, and can’t seem to solve it.

Seriously what route was it on and so forth? Is this new to you? I've had this forever and just tested it. Ran it up to seventy and went through several switches (not at the same time) with no issues. Need more info to even make a guess.

Point still stands that the locomotive has problems, more than that are obvious off 10 seconds of gameplay.

Well it works fine here my friend so the problem is something other than just the package.

I don't use this DLC often but I have never had any issues with any of Dick Cowen's steam locos.
