No mate, it was probably a dig at me because to my eyesight, the loco and tenders appear different colours...

Oh you guys. It's no wonder we all cringe every time we post anything on here. Do you really think he didn't notice or maybe he was just trying to show you the locomotive? That isn't even the right tender for this loco.

Good work. I took one of your steamers out for a run on the Cimarron & Pacific yesterday. Had a great time.

Sorry I don't understand what you are getting at. As you feel it is a MAJOR flaw could you explain the problem in simple terms that this poor Brit can understand !DUH!

What are "laters" and where is the "front panel"? Do you mean the pilot front or the smoke box front? *!!thnx!!*

Dick

Thanks for the explanation. The pilot is a standard piece used on most of my steamers so if it was out in the first place it will explain why it appears in all my models!!!!
Over the years these models have been out there you are the first to mention it!!!!!!
I am NOT a rivet counter BUT the overall shape has to be correct to give the right feel. Any glaring mistakes need to be corrected. Thus I will revisit the Mikados too.
