Somewhere, sometime, I got the impression that Britkits was going to put out a narrow gauge set of tracks and rolling stock. Was that a figment of my imagination?

No it wasn't a pigment of your imagination. It never got off the drawing board and it was being done elsewhere at the time anyway.

I have got two ng shay trucks which may eventually sprout boiler, cab etc but not yet.
