Buzz commented...

There must have been a switch thrown the wrong way somewhere.

However, the Office of the Historian, US Department of State, comments...

Occupation and Reconstruction of Japan, 1945–52

After the defeat of Japan in World War II, the United States led the Allies in the occupation and rehabilitation of the Japanese state. Between 1945 and 1952, the U.S. occupying forces, led by General Douglas A. MacArthur, enacted widespread military, political, economic, and social reforms.

So there's your explanation! Possibly...

Kind regards,

A Cumbres and toltec livery would be VERY nice! *!!wink!!* as i have built this for train simulator. i must say that i do agree the tender is WAY too narrow, as they were actually stanard gauge tenders with narrow gauge wheelsets. i would also change the truck frames on the tender. here is a picture showing the tender width. a version without the doghouse would also be nice :D

A wider tender, corrected animations (yes one of the frames was 10* out) and various other tweeks. ready to download again. !*whack*!
Remember though, as said elsewhere, I am not a rivet counter. **!!bang!!**

Oh did someone mention Cumbres and Toltec? An update will be uploaded later this evening!

All told though, I'm enjoying it immensely!

ya know, who cares about trademarks? all we are doing is PROMOTING their company. i this was a problem? then how could you do the cumbres and toltec scenic rr (otherwise known as the cornbread and toaster scenic RR).
ya know, we should all grab our torches and pitchforks and riotagainst the railroads(okay thats a little extreme)and let the railroads (specifically BNSF) know all we are doing is PROMOTING THEM. if i can type DURANGO AND SILVERTON, why cant you "TYPE" DURANGO AND SILVERTON on the texures? that is what i dont understand about "copywright".

Whew, i feel alot better now that i got that off my chest. !*hp*! !!jabber!! !!jabber!! !*whack*! **!!2cents!!**

EDIT: by the way, is the pack in your store updated yet to the wide tender version?

I really hate to complain, but the cab shadows are REALLY messed up(just go into cab with dynamic lighting off) and there is WAY too much roll resistance. she lost speed going down a 1% grade with a full head of steam (and yes i made sure that all the brakes and handbrakes were off) and her throttle was almost wide open. !*whack*!

Have you ever considered sending him a PM instead of bitching in public?

Thanks for the support Buzz and thanks for the feedback Emma S.

I have had a quick look and things work fine for me. As for the shadow with no dynamic lighting, yes it is dark but I never run without dynamic lighting on. In fact no dynamic lighting makes the whole sim look flat on my setup.

I know many users edit the eng. and simulation files themselves to get the results they feel happiest with. *!!wink!!*

I work on the gestalt theory of modelling !*cheers*!

This forum is open for anyone to read and comment on. Buzz was, I think, trying to protect me from public humiliation. *!embar*! *!embar*!

Don't fight over it. There are other places for that. Though members have strong opinions here it is generally a civil and thus attractive place to post messages.

Constructive criticism is useful and I often follow through on it. Not always though as I am a bit of a rebel. I was back in the 60s and haven't changed much over the years!!!! *!twisted!*

Sadly how things are written here reflects more on the writer than the one it is directed to!!! !**conf**!

keep it cool!!

Dick I think this is what Emma S is talking about, I play TS with Dynamic lightning off because my PC is basically a potato *!lol!* I just try to ignore it.. All of this new 3ft narrow gauge is wanting me to attempt the East Broad Top :D

It seems to happen with all of your NG locos *!sad!* If its just me getting these weird shadows then its obviously my PC giving up on me *!lol!* So I wouldn't worry about it.
