Well that *has* got Stack02 removed, but as you can see there's still a stack at the front :p I'll just remove everything and see what a clean body looks like. I don't own the payware version to check that though.

Apparently the front stack is fixed. I tried the stack01 child, and all it does is remove the second smoke emitter.

Please Mr. Cowen could you help?

Got round to unwrapping it today, threw a temporary texture on as I can't remember how to shadow-bake properly atm, is this about the right size Mike?

( I just noticed you can see through the cab-side there, btw )

Looks really good... I'd say you extended the lower pipe about right. Colour is very close, could be a bit darker, and should look like heat discolored steel.

I don't know where you are in the child building process, but when you do get there could you have a single that replaces the front stack, and a pair to replace both?

The pipe goes into the body, you can lift it up more if you want. I will probably once I work out how to bake a decent overlay, let you paint the texture. RW's lighting is a bit funny & lights up the underside for some reason - having tested with different colour textures it's not the model - but you can call that light bouncing off the body if you like.

As for children, just copy the smoke emitter child entries, replace the emitter with the stack, move them down a little and they're positioned. I have aligned the stack to the origin rather than position it on the engine in Max, and there's no point doing a double version when you can just add another child entry instead.

That's wonderful, that way I can use them on other engines than the switchers. Some GP9s used these as well in the Northwest. Thank you.

I've been tempted to animate one with the lid shut & lifting a bit when the engine is throttled up, but maybe another day :)

Thank you very much, it works perfectly, now to get the color where it belongs and I'll package 81. 210 and 211 need to wait for Mr. Cowen.

Please type me up a little text file giving you credit and so forth to include with my repaints.

For the BN 185 switcher, I had to re-index the locations a little. They now print exactly in the center of the old stacks, making it possible to leave a portion of the stack cover in place (it needs to be shortened of course). Kali, would you mind if I create two (single and double stacks) 'default' .bin files that could be added to Richard's FLC default system? I believe I could create a .rwp pack to do that, and it would make your models easier for all to use. I'm going to look for a SW1500DC that had these and create a model of it, if the stacks are editable.

Go ahead. And as far as docs go, just mention me as the modeller & copyright, and in some way mention that it's not to be sold directly or indirectly without talking directly to me, and that's enough.

Pretty sure all the RSC SW1500s have stacks as part of the body model, unfortunately.

As it appears does Mr. Cowens MP15DC... :(

Thanks, I'll do it up then.
