Editing the Mogul Roadnames

Unread postby harryadkins » Sat Jan 26, 2013 11:14 pm

I have been working on editing one of the Mogul roadnames for the Cimarron & Pacific route as per Dick's instructions in the accompanying pdf. Editing the tga file went well and everything looked correct. However, when I tried to convert the tga to ACE using RWAceTool, I got an error message. Can anyone help me correct the problem?

Depending on the graphics editing programme you are using tga files can be saved as 8, 16 or 24 bit either compressed or uncompressed.
I use the the 24 bit compressed option.

You could also get CS2 for free now, and install the ACE plugin (available from RSC site). I use this method more often when I am creating textures for my models.

The ACE plugin works for Paintshop Pro (my preference) but there is no documentation on which settings to use.

Buzz, Adobe took the activation servers down. There are new serial numbers. Please look for my thread on getting CS2 for free.
