More texture anomalies have been discovered, particularly on my F3As. I have uploaded corrections and have taken the opportunity to add new coupling sounds.
I am seriously considering again, taking up knitting.

Export the texture with "_nm.ace" in the name - this will force the texture to be exported from the blueprint editor without compression which causes the checkerboard pattern on alpha or normals-dependent images. You can also try compressing the image from Photoshop to 16 rather than 24-bit, but also adding the "_nm.ace" to the file name. The 16-bit compression just might be enough to help counter the bloat created by the uncompressed exported image used in the game.
