Hello, Dick,

The video that someone posted with a worker hanging out of the plow's door reminded me that JustTrains sells an Autoballaster pack that features a worker operating the exterior controls ( http://www.justtrains.net/product/jja-a ... er-pluspak ); he only appears when the ballaster is in action. I imagine that involves a child object and would be a nice addition to your rotary. I'm looking forward to this one.

Dick...

I am not sure how they did it, modelling being the dark arts and all, but on the release of Donner Pass, RSC were able to model snow attaching to, and building up on the lead locomotive. Is something similar planned for your rotary?

Just a thought...

!*cheers*!

Dick already did that on his Russell plow.
It's a child object that is activated at a certain speed in the lua script.

Progress report.
No progress I am afraid. My modelling computer had a bad virus attack so had to go into detox. I have it back but for some reason windows scripting disappeared and now 3D Crafter won't work!!!

I downloaded the Microsoft files but now my computer tells me there is not enough memory to extract and load it!!!! Oh well back to the computer shop. !*hp*! !*hp*!

And is the plow going to have a cab interior, I'd like to see one of these with a usuable 3d cab interior for even more fun using it.

Hey, is there a button to switch which side the snow is blown to? I'm trying to shove it up a 2-track main, but it's blowing snow all over the other main.
