Steam fleet updates

Unread postby ozinoz » Thu Oct 31, 2013 4:45 pm

The 0-6-0 looks great - just wondering on the progress of the rest of the steam fleet? It has been a couple of months since we have had any news. I would even be happy to kick in a few $ as it looks like a whole new engine. Do you have plans to update the logging locos as well (I do love the shays and with B24's super detailed Bubleberry Logging, updated Shays with headlights etc would be great **!!bow!!** )

*!!thnx!!*

!*cheers*!

I have the Heavy Mikado models done and am now working on the tenders. (I am trying to get them truly interchangable with the other USRA locos.) Hopefully not much longer on them. As I have said else where. The problem is real life gets in the way!!!!!! !!jabber!! We are getting there though.

On a different subject.
1) Closing my Britkits site for new models. There may be a reprieve in sight as my No2 son has shown an interest and may be taking it over. More on this later.
2) I am in the process of putting all my freeware repainting kits into the library here. Inertia stopped me doing so in the past.

Dick.

Hi Dick;

Are all your existing steam going to be updated and made available? It would be a shame to loose them before you shut down.

That is good news all round, particularly about No 2 :D All too often you hear of collections being lost, pastimes given up because there is nobody else within the family with any interest to take part or to carry it on.

Having had instruction on how to get the safety valves to operate I have revisited my UP 0-6-0 and Free lance 2-6-2 and 2-6-0. My Heavy Mikados are now out there and I am working on the light Mikes at the moment. !*YAAA*!
