Problem with whistle on USRA 2-8-8-2

I recently had to reload my Railworks, and seem to have everything just right . . . but one problem. Britkits locomotives and kits had to be reloaded. I had lost my files so Britkits generously provided me with links and in the most part they have worked 100%.
But the USRA 2-8-8-2 whistle has a strange pattern, all other aspects seem OK.

Any suggestions on to how to fix, i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same issue - staccato blast
