Hi,

I've just uploaded a vastly updated version of the PRR K7a cattle car to my website. It is now fully TS13 (14???) ready, standalone with my new sounds, and also looks a bit better than before.

Also new are updates for the 36' truss-rod frame boxcars and the 30' and 40' truss-rod frame wooden gondolas. No changes to the models in these two cases (they had already been updated), but I added my sound pack to make them independent from the Kuju sounds.

Links to the download pages are in the text above, or visit my main page: http://golden-age-rails.com/index.html

Hope you'll enjoy these updated cars, sorry that it took me so long (over a year!!!) to get the PRR stock car back online. !!bang!!

Michael

I once based a scenario on Michael's cattle car, which remains a unique piece of rolling stock for this simulator. Might the reworked sounds include mooing? !!*ok*!! !!*ok*!! !!*ok*!!

That is one thing I do miss from the old MSTS days - having the livestock cars with cattle, horses & sheep that had their own intermittent sounds. I know it is a small thing, but it just adds to the immersion. However, any way you look at it, the DLC releases just keep getting better and better. !*drool*!

!*cheers*!

**!!bang!!** No, they don't... just didn't think of it.
I'll try to create some mooing sounds and add them to the (loaded) car.

Thanks,
Michael

They look great, also would love to see you update the SD9 and finish the back wall and the rest of the cab so it looks perfect.

Thanks!

The SD7s have been pushed back on my "work bench"... Dan sent me his vast inventory of new kit parts, so when I get a chance to finish the cabview update there will be a huge update for the SD7.

No breakthrough on the cattle sounds. !*hp*!

**!!bang!!**

Yeah... The real problem is... the cows are too well behaved and refuse to moo. !!bang!!

Michael, perhaps you could start by putting some cow clones inside the car (like those loads that come with the British livestock wagons)?

!!howdy!!
