Edit 1: After thinking about this a little more, I've decided I'm not going to do that. It's just too much work.

OK, I can see you making a new section, but if a RW2 file works with RW3, then why delete it? It's gonna take a while to figure out what does and doesn't work. Gotta let the third party guys update stuff that doesn't work. IMHO, of course. *!!wink!!*

I've been scanning through my models, finding some still work, some don't. As I find the ones that do work without modification, I'll let Hawk know.

A lot of my repaints are on Britkits models, and I do plan to revisit them as Mr. Cowen completes his very nice updates. I even helped Michael out here, by redoing his SP&S RS3. I also am now the proud owner of Photoshop CS5 so I can work some through of the issues I've had in the past as I update. I will ask Hawk to replace the RS2 models as they are completed.

Mr. Cornell apparently has indicated he will not update his GP38-2, So I am tackling redoing the bump map, and adding RS3 compatible lights. PapaExpress is getting back into 3D modelling, and he plans to fix up a pair of child objects to add a brow headlight to the GP38-2 and cover the lower light with a tri-light (SP) or a nose gong (CNW, MP, etc.) to give us a more universal model. The GP38-2 was EMD's second best seller after the GP9.

(BTW, how in the heck did the ATSF RS3s get to 323 downloads!?.)

I was wondering why my ears were burning... *!greengrin!*

I am still learning 3D modeling, so please no one hold their breath on when I will have this done. I will say that engine jewelry is my primary goal right now.

You must be talking about the previous download count. That's how many downloads there were before the update.
