Problems with registration?

If you've registered at the forum but your membership hasn't been finalized yet, the most common reason is failure to reply to the email address verification email sent out when you registered. This verification is necessary for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, it is set up to confirm you're not a spammer, as most spammers use fake email addresses. Secondly, your email address is used for the forum itself. If you choose to be notified of new posts in a thread you posted in, your email address is required to receive the email. Same goes if you choose to receive notifications of Private Messages sent to you, as well as any important messages/announcements about the forum sent out by the administrator.

If you supplied a valid email address but you haven't received the verification email, this could be due to your ISP dumping the email into their spam/junk folder, or any spam filter software you may have set up on your computer's email program. Not all ISP's use this blocking feature, but some do.

As it states on the registration page, in big red text, you may need to log in to your ISP's email site and configure the spam/junk folder to accept email from railworksamerica.com (you may even find the verification email already in that folder if you registered before configuring the settings). You will also need to configure the spam software you have installed on your computer's email program, if any.

As it also states on the registration page, if there has been no reply to the verification email within three (3) days of receiving the it, your registration will be deleted.
In 99% of cases, three days is sufficient time to receive the verification email and reply to it.

Once your registration is complete, you can click on the link at the top of the forum, 'User Control Panel', and set any options for email notification you choose.

If you have any other problems with the registration process for the Railworks America Forums other than what's mentioned above, you can contact the Administrator at this link. You will still need to assure that you can receive email from railworksamerica.com to use the contact page also.

Thank you for you interest in joining the Railworks America forums. We do apologize for any inconvenience this registration process may cause but we try to make your membership here as safe and easy as possible.
