In 1825 the line was a mere 25 miles in length running from Phoenix Pit, Old Etherley Colliery to Cottage Row in Stockton-on-Tees. By 1860 the route had grown considerably with extensions and branches to, virtually every corner of Weardale and Teesdale, more than 200 miles. Reaching from Durham City in the North to Darlington in the South and Tebay in the West to Saltburn on the North Sea Coast, at the Eastern end of the route.
This add-on for Train Simulator faithfully recreates the route as it was between 1950 and 1960. Recreating almost all of the 200 miles between Durham City, Darlington, Middleton-in-Teesdale and Wearhead at the extremities of the route.
Any route any rolling stock AS long as the screenshot is from a route across a ocean from North America and the rolling stock is also. We have four copies which include TS2016 to award. This contest will last until December 20. No Photo Shopping or other doctoring of your shots. They must be as taken. Make sure and put a title on them. Have fun.

"Please don't let me die" was the sentiment scrawled across 48305s rusted smokebox door as she languished at Barry. Fortunately, someone was paying attention and the 8F is today standing in good company with superb Peppercorn A1 as both attend a steam gala on the West Somerset Railway.
