Texture sizes

I am having trouble figuring out just how to make the textures for buildings. I am using sketch-up 8 pro to build them with no problems then I export them to 3ds Max 2014. I can texture them there I can get them in the game no problem but the textures are not to scale on the building. it is like it takes 3 bricks to build the whole building. I am using Photoshop cs5 to make the textures as .dds files at 2048 x 2048. I hope someone can help we out with this.

Look for some tuts on Max UVMAP and UVUnwrap on youtube that will help you with your scaling problem.
