ROW Fence

Unread postby railduffer » Sat Nov 10, 2018 9:48 am

How do I install ROW Fence so it is on the ground instead of hanging at track level when using the offset tool? I have looked and looked through the Forum to no avail.
On my route I have cut and fill areas. When using the offset tool to set the ROW Fence the fence or vegetation shows at track level. The terrain might be higher or lower than the track at the offset distance. Not good. There is probably an easy fix, but I don't know how.
Thanks for any help.

After you have placed the fence, I think this is what you need, not sure.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Highlight the arrow like Gary says then push the L button and it will snap to terrain.

Thanks for the "L" hint. It's too bad there is not an option to either offset at track level (+ or - would be nice), or snap to ground level. Thanks.
