Help!

I have created an Engine Repair Facility building in Sketchup 17 that I would like to have converted to use in Railworks.

Anyone willing to do this? PM me and I'll send you the Sketchup and dae files.

Thanks,

Dave

engine Shed II.jpg

This is the latest attempt of mt Engine Shed in Sketchup. That is about as far as I've gotten. I've attempted to move similar files to Blender with some success but getting it into 3DC for export to Rail Simulator hasn't happened. I have the Plus version of 3DC but get a message that there was an error on the import and to report it to 3CD. However, it doesn't tell me what the error is or how to fix it.

I have been reviewing the tutorials and instructions found on this forum but I guess I'm missing the boat some place along the way. Any suggestions on how to get it converted to 3DC and into Train Simulator would be appreciated.

To export to RW you'll need the pro version of 3D Crafter.

Well, I guess that the end of that project. I've already spent my limit on 3D and can't see going in debt for the pro version.

Thanks for your input, JPeters Jr.

Or. You can get blender and the blender scripts. the scripts are somewhere on a german website if i recal. if you get blender i can help you export into game and texture it and what not.

or if you want, i can do it for you.

Forget Sketchup and 3DC and go for the real thing.

The "real thing", is that "It"? If not what?

Thanks GerneicZack, I have Blender and remember something about the scripts. Will have to look for them.
I'll keep your offer in mind.
