papa i can send you the ace file if you want to have a go at the loft, or are you going to make it static?

I was going to make it static. Right now I am spending my time working on the homework SMM handed out last night, so I don't have the time to figure out how to do a loft. I will need to one day as they are too useful not to have.

understood, me either, i made a static one, problem is curves and lining up with the rails

I cheated a bit with mine. I created a 4 foot static and turned them slightly with the curve. Given that this is what they do in real life with steel and concrete pads I can get away with it. For wood... a loft would look best.

here is the single timber one, more common here, i got alot of irons in the fire right now with railworks, but i can share what i have to this point

ill upload them tonight, they will only work on straight 2 lane rural roads, but feel free to use the texture to make a loft

Just seeing if this has any progress at all? On the Dakota Branch this is what they have, unless it's an older crossing they have wood still.

The 60' and 10' sections are done. I still need to texture the 20' and 30' sections before I feel comfortable packaging them. I'll see what I can do for this week.

If you would like, I could gather some images of the local ones here and you can see if they are the same type of texture or something.
