No answer till now. *!sad!*

I hope he still works on RW stuff. He's very talented.

Yes! :D I'm still working on RW stuff. I just haven't been too active on the forums lately.

For all those interested, the Cascades Subdivision has been shelved for now. Reasons:
1. Waiting for RSC to finish working on the distant terrain feature.
2. A route that's 220 miles long is more than I can handle. Admittedly, I bit off more than I could chew with the Cascades Sub.
3. The Cascades Sub is not a very balanced route. At best, it's mostly long haul. Not a whole lot of Industry for pick-ups and set-outs or yards for switching.

I still have the route the safely tucked away on my computer. If anybody here would like to take a crack at it, I would be willing to release it as-is.
I'm still making stuff though.

Oh great to hear from you again John. !!*ok*!!

Oh please your Cascade Sub is the greatest project I've seen so far for this game (what I can tell from the pictures). You must release it. **!!bow!!**
An idea: Why not make it in parts or just release the main section from let's say Eugene to about 10-15 miles behind Cascade summit?

And this bridge looks very nice, as I said you are very talented. !*salute*!

Okay. Since there seems to be a demand for it, I will package it up and upload it to the file library.
It's important to understand a few things first.
1. The track work is incomplete. I graded about 170 miles of track including the stretch through the Cascades (aka. Willamette Pass) they stop about 2 or 3km south of Oakridge.
2. The scenery is complete for about 55km and then stops. There is an area on the south side of Klamath Falls around the BNSF yard that is incomplete.
3. The signaling is incomplete
4. No road traffic.
With all that, you will have a lot of work on your hands if you decide to try and finish it.

Regards
John

55 miles is better than nothing. i love the area that you modled because of it's semi desert mountains. the Dash9's, and the SD70's would look great on this route aswell.

For all interested parties my Cascades Sub WIP route has been uploaded to my humyo account.
I decided for now to keep it out of the F/L for now. You can grab it here:

http://www.humyo.com/FCWMWtP/WillamettePass(WIP).rwp?a=3-o1OUvM-0A

The file size is 410 megabytes. I can just imagine what the file size would have been if it was finished. *!!wink!!*
The route doesn't use any far-flung assets that you have to search the world over for. Most if not all of the assets used, everyone has by now.

Please remember the route is being offered as-is.
Since I'm making it public domain, feel free to tinker with it.

John, thank you for your fine contribution of the route. Looks like a good candidate for a group build to finish it out.

How are the water towers coming along?

Help! I always get a DNS Error when I try to open the link. At first there is the page "sign in to humyo account", then after a few seconds it says "Oops, page broken!"

It says I need a humyo account for downloading, bit I have non. And if you want to sign in it always says that you have to create a trendmicro account, but I don't want this.
Do you have the same issues? Please help me.
