im trying to keep them simple i may make a 3" concrete pipe one as well soon as well

Apparently it's not the size of your culvert but how you use it. Personally, I think that's just something railroads with small culverts say.

Culverts. I swear dude, next you'll be laying pipes to the 3d modeled toilets inside the houses on your route! Too much detail haha! Great work, they look as good as preformed concrete ever has! !!*ok*!!

Thanks guys, im no where near on par with most of the 3d Modelers here but i try to make it look decent, still scares me to do a locomotive

How do you make a culvert correctly so you have your open part in the middle and not route terrain instead?

I might try one myself, the culvert with beams in the middle.

i started with a cube in 3dsmax, then i made to Chamferboxes side by side and used the Pro boolean operation which cuts the holes perfectly, then i made the wings and other pieces, baked the shadows, then created a berm on either side and textured it with the terrain texture Grass Bare to match the surrounding color and it extends 100 meters either side then set the Snap terrain to track tool to a steep angle and blended it
took some experimenting and hid the berm with bushes

i hhave some other things such as battery boxes and relay cabinets, ill upload them at some point (just wished i had the same eye for detail as smmdigital)
