I assume that I also need to place ToAce in this dummy folder? Right now I use RW_Ace and to convert and move the files to source manually.

I will give this a try later this afternoon.

The Trainworks Wizard creates its own ace files - no need to us ToAce for creation of Ace files.

By the way, I have never heard of RW_Ace - where is that available and is it different than ToAce?

When I try to export in the TW Wizard, it pops up a message that goes something like "ToAce.exe not found. You will need to manually use ToAce to convert the textures and move them to the Source folder". I figured that the wizard, unlike the "File>Export" exporter, not only converted the file but processed the textures as well.

RW Ace Tool is available on the RS.com support page. I don't know how it's different than ToAce because i've never used ToAce. It's just a simple converter for single or multiple images.

I stand corrected, I do have a copy of ToAce.exe in my C:\Program Files\Rail Simulator folder.

Other than shifting the file deposit location, the Trainworks Wizard made no difference, and still no shadows.

I'm running out of options, and patience, with this. There are a a couple of things I can try - switching to Vista 32-bit (some programs just don't like Win7-64), switching to a different version of 3DC 7. I'm going to try to exhaust all avenues before sending a Helpmegram to Amabilis.
