Texture section for File Library??

Unread postby cnwfan » Thu Mar 29, 2012 8:35 am

What does everyone think about having Hawk add a texture download section to the File Library? It would have to be limited to textures created by the user using their original photos... to avoid copyright problems. Anyways, thought I'd toss the idea out there.

And the other really good news... I finally got 3DCrafter running on my system. Last night, I was able to import a Sketchup model and do some basic texturing. Tonight... I'll see if I can actually get it exported out to the sim. !*YAAA*!

I doubt there would be enough submittals to warrant a section of it's own. Depending on what the texture is for, it would go in either the models or rollingstock section.

After you get the hang of it modeling in sketchup and Crafter really isn't too hard.
