Hi,

I am working on a route and it is on the city, so it mean have a lot assets, but unfortunately on one part, it's crashed often, and I guess it is some assets are too heavy like one church more than 770MB, and the resolution is 2048x2048 and I wish reduce it too in same time reduce the size of the textures files.

Unfortunately, I doesn't have anymore the source file.

Thanks in advance for your help

I assume you have some experience working with doing something like a re-paint or making a texture change. If not you want to read this:
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/l ... and_dxtbmp

What you need to do is export your 2048x2048 texture file. Then make a blank texture of whatever size you want 512x512 or 1024x1024 name it the same name as your original file and put it in place of the 2048x2048 TgPcDx file.

Now open your 2048x2048 in Paint.net or whatever you use for a editor and resize it to the 512x512 or 1024x1024 then save it and save through DXTBmp as a .dds. Import that back through RSBin and you will now have a much smaller texture file. If this is all something very complicated for you if you are unfamiliar with all of this I would be happy to do this for you.

Did you substitute the original texture for the new smaller blank one before you tried to import? I think it tells you down on the bottom what size it is.
