Also, can anyone point me in the direction of a good loft, still wouldn't mind being able to build a loft, perhaps build a set of lofts for the website.

I just designed a utility pole loft, with the poles themselves at designated points, with the wire itself being the loft (obviously), and I notice that the wire seems to fade out from more than a few metres away (it's just an alpha channel texture, laid flat at the top, not 3d (couldn't get that to render for some strange reason).

Is there a setting with the blueprint that I can change to get it to be more viewable from a distance?

With the utility poles I've made, there's a lot of splits within the loft, due to the utility pole being part of the end geometry. Is it ok to have so many splits in a route, or will this cause issues?
