Texture Baking Question

Unread postby emdsd90mac » Fri Jun 06, 2014 4:21 pm

Hello and good day to you all. I have in the past year learned how to create content for RW using 3DS Max and have successfully created a hand full of models. I have not released any of these models to the major public yet because I don't feel that are up to my own standard just yet because I lack the ability to figure out baking. I was given a quick tutorial at one time one this using the MaxScript E-Light, but I need more instruction on this and can't seem to find anything anywhere on this topic. If anyone has some info they would be willing to share I would greatly appreciate it. I am open to other suggestions on baking as well if anyone would like to share that also. Thank you in advance.

There's a ton of tutorials both on Youtube and the web. A good one to start with:

You'll also find a few tips over at UKTrainsim.com.
Cheers!
