The signal aspect textures are identical in appearance, proportions and size to the ones I am replacing them with. I am actually just layering the new texture upon the old texture in Photoshop. I save the textures to the appropriate specs which is: DXT3 ARGB, Mip Maps=7. Identical to the originals. However when I load up a scenario, the signal aspects do not appear until I come really close to the signal. Whether by zooming in or by moving close to it. All I see is the texture underneath it which is the actual head texture (both the head and light textures are separate for the searchlight signals). It appears that the texture underneath the new ones are masking it somehow. Pics explain better than words so here are three shots. One from the very point the texture disappears (starting from there and moving back there is no new texture), another shot from the point where the texture underneath just starts to mask the aspect textures (leaving black spots), and the third from the very point where the new texture starts t appear. When I revert back tot he originals, the original textures show up. very strange since I am only just layering a new image on top of the old and saving.
Can anyone suggest any thing to check and to try out before I give up. They look too good with these new textures!

1. From this point as father back the signals do not appear.

2. From this point the signal just starts to appear but you see the residue of the texture masking it.

3. This is how close I have to be for it to show up without fault.
Thanks for any help!
