Using shaders in blender

Unread postby dogrokket » Wed Jan 22, 2014 4:26 pm

I've been working on a scenery object and trying to add the TexDiff shader. I am putting it in the first image slot. The problem is, each subsequent time I use this shader name, blender adds a .001, .002, .003 etc. That won't work in the BP editor. I'm either putting this in the wrong spot, or I don't understand how to use multiple shaders in blender. Here's what the pane looks like:

Figured that out... FYI: If you want to use a shader name, such as TexDiff multiple times, Blender takes the initiative add a little numbered extension to what you typed (irritating), so you will need to select it from the list of textures and images already in use.
