C&O Cabin's (Switch tower)

Unread postby RvA944 » Fri Dec 13, 2013 11:03 am

Well I've been quietly working away at some projects. Here's a screen of one of the items I've been working on. It's a "Cabin" I did for Toripony & Coaltrail for their routes, (C&O Alleghany and The Big Sandy) . This will be available from either of those routes when they release them. I'm also working a few things for general release here in the near future.

Nice! That's a generic wooden C&O cabin. Any chance of the custom stone cabins of Alleghany and other locations along the COARW?

!*salute*! I will be making a few more items for the C&O for both routes and the brick Cabins are on the list.

Gorgeous! Beautiful night glow, too! Personally, I hope you stick with the wooden buildings; the game needs more wood RR structures for US routes. There's already at least a dozen EU brick towers to use as substitutes on US routes whereas I have less than half a dozen wooden "shacks" of any kind (that don't have RR names on them) to populate a route. Just please don't put signs/names on them so they can be used on a variety of routes. I wish modelers would make name-signs and logos as separate assets instead of attaching them to their buildings (or use generic names).

Bottom line though, make any scenery you want; you obviously have a talent for it and we need that talent!!!

Sounds great, also you should finish the 57 Chevy Bel Air of a pack of a couple versions of them, then you also should release that item here at RWA as well.

By the way, the models are looking awesome.

Also, I hope to be able to get my new 60's vehicles up soon as well. I recently did a brand new 1966 Chevrolet C10 truck that came out supreme.

...Cheers...

I remember my father had exactly that tower in HO scale in the 1960s.
Thanks for the memories, and that's a very nice model.
