Looking back onto some of my past models & my present models.

Here's an item that I built for the sim when I was just starting out with Crafter, really all these were were a couple of painted blocks and then exported.

How much I've progressed since then, my present models, the 1960's cars made with about as much detail I can stuff into them and not cause a problem in Railworks.

I would say that I've progressed a good bit in 3d modeling since I first started out 3d developing.

So what do you think of some of my present models compared to some of my past models that I did.

...Cheers...

jpetersj, your 1960s cars look a lot better than your crates.
Your modeling has certainly improved a lot!

In my opinion, your next area of improvement would be texturing, shading and lighting, especially light baking.
You may have outgrown the features of 3DC and be ready to move to a more robust 3D app like Blender.

I tried Blender and just couldn't figure it out, perhaps later maybe. Unfortunately though as of right now I don't have enough time to learn another program.
