Tori's updated COA route version 5.0

Unread postby ozinoz » Fri Aug 23, 2013 12:58 am

Hi,

Before Tori disappeared into the void and dropped off the www, I know she released a new updated version of her COA route for testing via her website. Does anybody here have that new version? Is it possible for the new version to be uploaded here for all to share, given the prior nature of the project? If Tori has infact gone for good, maybe somebody would like to carry on her work and at least populate and scenery the route which I believe went now to Hinton. It is a super route and would hate to see it die.

!!*ok*!!

!*cheers*!

Funny this should come up at this particular time...... I was talking with _o_OOOO_oo-Kanawha and he said there where a few asset s needed for this route, so I started working on the Hinton Station. Almost done with the modeling (just a few more details to add) then on to textures. So let me get this finished before this gets kicked out for downloading again ok.

It is Tori's route, we can not post it here with out her permission. She had it available ONLY on her web site. She talked about putting it here and at NERW, but with out her say so, it is not going to happen. I have no idea what is going on only some speculation. I am still worried something bad happened to her, perish the thought, but she just dissappeared. I have not even seen Gordon (qrfan) around nor do I have his email.

Yes, I too am concerned that there is a major problem with Tori. It is not like her to just disappear. As to beta 5, there is a flaw in the track bin (?) file that she said caused a problem with signals. She was planning to completely redo beta 5.

Ok Bob, thanks for the clarification. That is one of the problems with the virtual community that is the www. You come on, you drop off and other than your on screen presence, you really don't exist.

I too hope everything is ok; just feel bad there is no way of getting in contact to make sure all is ok and offer support.

ps: wonderful looking station...

Tin foil hat time. Tori's sudden disappearance from the www is puzzling and out of character. I am wondering whether she has been seconded under NDA to RSC to have the version 5 of the COA included as a route from the new Workshop Marketplace for when TS2014 goes live in a month? The second to last Engine-Driver update mentioned new freeware routes being created and listed a couple of builders; but what if there was one more? The COA is still possibly my favourite route (although the VNHRR is a close second (or will be when ver 1.0 is finally released)) and being freeware, it would make an ideal project to demonstrate the Marketplace possibilities. The coarw website is still up, but just a blank page, which to me is odd if withdrawing from the hobby altogether.

I am really hoping that is all it may be - dont like to see these things die...

Adjusts tin foil hat and steps off soapbox...

Too much 3rd party stuff in her route to go to the work shop. I have not seen her in any other forums either.

What am I missing? My version of the COA route is pretty bare. Is there a latest version somewhere?

Hey guys, sorry to worry ya'll but I'm ok. !!**sorry**!! Just been sick for a while and lost track of everything. I failed to get the domain renewed in time, but I'll see if I can get that going again. There should be a "direct address" to the site; I'll see if I can find out.
