It would be marvelous if we could get COARW v4.5 and v5.0 posted in the RWA File Library. At lot of newbies have never run through the outstanding forest-covered Alleghenies at mid-day. IMHO, Tori's scenery is several notches above Marias Pass.

I am sure RWA is the place for the route if it needs a new home, if for any reason it is not then I am happy to host it and give it a forum, I could also offer a free sub-domain if you like.

Good to see a gurl making routes for RW! I'm just not smart enuff to create anything more cumplex than a scenario for an existing route. Keep going! :)

That's one part that makes me a little nuts, even though I do like thinking them up.

Your husband must be a lucky man, that's for sure! :) I have no problems with scenarios. I also like doing realistic timetables, not like those career ones which are 100% efficiency and so on. Anyway, I like what I see so far. :)

Well guys i have been reading alot of posts about the COA, i for one love the route i find myself running it more than any other one i have, and i have alot of them, i download the Scenarios from nerw, in which i am registered there as well, so from what i have been reading is, there seems to be a need for the COA 4.5 Beta, for those of you that dont have it or cant find it, i for one do have the COA 4.5 Beta, As yes it does work, runs awesome to be honest, Tori your work on that route was/and still is amazing, i look for ward to the day when and if you get COA 5.0 up and running, RL comes first you do what you need to do to get yourself better, we as dedicated railfans can wait until that day happens, i know i can, and now as far as i can see, in a post it was mentioned that if COA 4.5 Beta could be put on RWA, well i for one would love to help out, and let others who cannot enjoy the route do so, i have the route on mY dropbox site, so with whomevers permission is needed to do that plz let me know

BTW, if you like the COA route don't miss the scenarios for it, on the NERW web site.
There are even two-part scenarios starting on the COA and finishing on the NE-PA route.

I'm relatively new to these forums and unfortunately missed out on the COA route. After reading all the posts in various topics about COA, I'm eager to see what it is all about and see the magnificent artistry of the legendary Toripony! :D

Some posters have copies of the route in beta. Are they allowed to upload it to RWA for sharing? I'm not clear on why that would be an issue. *!question!*
Just curious.

The COA 4.5 route requires the COA Assets Pak. At the time that pak was made (over 2 years ago), RSC had a different file sharing arrangement and common content among all product users. When RSC changed their licensing policies for those assets to protect their creative rights, sharing them "the old way" was no longer legal. It is now not legal to post that Asset pak for sharing, thus anyone who does would become liable.

I've said already publicly, this content should no longer be shared, so whatever you do with it, you are on your own. When I release the next COA version, the asset paks will be fully in compliance with RSC's new policies and will be posted here at RWA. Be patient.

Toripony - Thanks for taking time to explain that. Too bad RSC has to be such knuckleheads. You and others making freeware is wonderful and I hope to join you soon (as soon as I can afford 3DC Pro). Perhaps someday this whole hobby will be open source.

NOW GET BACK TO WORK!!!!

--Just KIDDING--

Nice to meet you. !!howdy!!

RSC was just doing what they had to do because of other knuckleheads. I should have been smarter with my work in the beginning but it's all been a good learning experience. Just another example of a few bad apples spoiling it for all the rest. One great thing that we have now is the RCAP project! !*brav*!
