Oovee - U25B (U-boat)
Hello USA,
I'm proud to announce the development of the General Electric U25B locomotive for RailWorks 3 (Train Simulator 2012) which is likely to be available on Steam by Q1 2012. If you have been following our UK developments over the years, you will have noticed that we strive to include advance features and innovations. We were the first commercial developer to include opening windows, opening cab doors, dynamic exhaust smoke, wheel-slip protection and other advance features for which have been followed by many other developers. Don't think that it will stop there, we will continue to innovate and the U25B with be another leap forwards in technology.
Work will begin in November of 2011 and we will provide you with updates on here and on our many social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
The U25B will be at home on the HSC route and for those that do not have this route we will also include scenarios for default routes. The U25B audio has been recorded by a professional audio engineer from 20th Century Fox, so expect nothing less than a highly realistic immersion factor - really putting you in the engineers seat. You will hear that 4-stroke exhaust beat for miles as is approaches the you, with your chest vibrating more intensely as you increase the throttle. The train will rock from side to side whilst idling which is typical of engine like this. Many things to be excited about!
We hope that you are as excited about this as we are and please "like" our Facebook page to show your support. Feel free to post your ideas or suggestions that you would like to see in this product.
Regards,
Zane Saxton

Bout time we got some U boats!
Any idea of what roadnames you'll be including? I can assume Conrail and/or Penn Central, heck maybe even PRR seeing as they had a bunch, will be in there with the mention of the HSC, but any other railroads on the drawing board?
