Just wasn't sure where to plonk this - https://www.rwcentral.com/blogs/entry/5 ... pre-order/ and hadnt seen it mentioned anywhere here !!det!!

Personally not too sure on the pricing though, a bit $$ for my blood

Does look interesting though, and the screens look impressive.

I jumped on the special preorder upgrade price as a current user. It’s well worth it for the overall difference it makes to the sim. Now Pro will allow things to be tweaked even more and settings can be shared with others.

My only complaints about the current version is metal reflections on the side of a locomotive can get distorted and look janky at times as they pass by at trackside. The other issue I have with it is that it washes out distant hills and mountains in a thick haze. They almost look like ghost mountains.

Not sure if this is the bloom setting doing it or what. I haven’t had the time lately to dig in and tweak the settings... so maybe those can be improved. I’ll wait until Pro comes out in a few days with it’s more detailed tweak settings and see if I can make things better.

Untick reflection enhancements to tone down those metal reflections and depth of field for the hazy hills.

Hello,

Anyone got a weird behavior with the last updated RWE Pro version 1.02 for TS2020 compatibility on the side of virus trojan detection either by downloading the updated RWE Pro version blocked by the anti virus or some time after the install and running RWE Pro several days after?
It is said this virus detection is a false safe virus but I don't want to disable my A.V. for some reason. I use W10 Pro up to date and Windows defender up to date also. I could disable my A.V. to be able to download the soft RWE Pro but it is risky.
And on my side the trojan detected and pushed in quarantine is only in relation with the RWE Pro program; no others executable files or files are in relation with the trojan detected, just RWE Pro.
I made a total PC analyze A.V. and no other virus detected on my system.

On another side the RWE normal version has not such problem. It run fine without detection of virus.

If some are facing with this weird behavior, could you confirm you got the same problem please.

Cheers
Gerard

Thank you for your answer. Tonight I redownloaded the RWE Pro file and no more virus detection. Surely a false safe virus was previously not handled by the A.V. as safe but now all is fine on my side.
Thank you for your report.
