It's been a long time coming! There are a couple of WIP threads on these forums concerning this route -- but now it's no longer WIP.
The Springfield Line is based on the New Haven Railroad in the mid-20th century. It's a multi-track route that parallels the Connecticut River from Springfield south to Hartford, then angles southwest to New Haven. There are also several branch lines and some huge yards. Lots of vintage diesels and plenty of rolling stock is included. Passenger service or freight, there's something for everybody here. I grew up in Connecticut and traveled through this area many times. Michael and Bob have certainly captured the old-time feel. Congratulations, guys!
