Great work with the soundset, I'm just unsure if there will be a 40% off coupon.

No coupon codes at the moment. As they are 7.55 right now.

These sounds do not install correctly, especially if you have the 40 series pack. The 40 series pack has a new sound .BIN file so the proxy files included in this pack will do nothing as the bin file is not pointing to them. Second there is a folder misspelled 'Iputmapper' with a new expert mapper that the new engine bin files in this pack fail to point to.

For the sounds to work correctly you need Michael Kam's physics mod for the NJT GP40PH-2Bs. The misspelled folder problem can easily be fixed by renaming it or dragging and dropping the file with in the folder into the inputmappers folder in the .ap file. Though a new version that has the correct spelling will be uploaded soon.

I do not understand when you say 40 series. There quite a bit of 40 series locomotives out there. What exactly are you trying to do???

Should I install Michaels mod before I install these sounds?

The 40 series sound pack from Oovee changes the .bin files in the audio folder so when I install your sounds they cannot be heard because the bin files are pointing to the oovee proxyxmls.

Also the interior bell with the p5 horn plays at a faster rate than the exterior.

Any other sounds that are from another 3rd party are not supported by my sounds. I have not tested nor bought any other sounds from Oovee. So I would not necessarily know what to do in that situation. Only thing I can think of is finding which one you like the best and using them.

I have tested your sounds with the ATC and ACSES enabled....somehow I did not hear the alerter beep during a speed decrease despite the face I inspected the code for the cab sound. Great job with the rest...i also recommend adjusting the bell volume in an update for K5LA 1 as K5LA 2 has a slightly louder bell.

Actually I have and they did work but for some reason not for you I'll take a look into it.

I only noticed that during a speed decrease; when it's an alerter it works fine

I would recommend a displayed message that clearly indicates that the poster is digging up an old thread. If they wish to post anyhow, they can simply hit submit.

It is easy to just hit the button without realising (until after it's sent) that the last post in the thread was 14 years ago (Something like this occurred on the Railpage forums recently IIRC).
