[WIP] MPI MP20GP Union Pacific Yard

Unread postby MartinVelozo » Mon Feb 23, 2015 2:01 am

Hello friends, around here again

This time I come to show another model I'm designing: MPI MP20GP Union Pacific
The idea is to make both versions for a single pack
As with all locomotives DTM, will have open doors and windows.

Learn more:
The MPI MP20GP is locomotive that was commissioned as part of UP's green initiative. UP supplied GP50's as cores for these rebuilds. The units were fitted with CAT 3612 prime movers, these units are Tier 2 compliant. All 12 of UP's units were built in 2007, and are generally used on locals and in yards on UP in Texas.

- Down here you can see the progress of modeling -
* The textures are not final. They are borrowed from the GP50 *
I hope you enjoy it. I hear suggestions

It looks amazing so far. Keep crackin' at it, as we need more content. Are there plans for any other Genset type model that you may work on, besides DTG's 3GS21B? (Or is that one of yours?)

Really looking forward to the Santa Fe and DRGW stuff! How do you guys manage all these projects at once? !!*ok*!! !*salute*! *!!thnx!!*

However, you might consider waiting to complete some of these locos before DTG releases their "Next-Gen" Train Simulator in the next year or two.

These look sharp, these are gonna be fun to drive on Sherman Hill locals as there are no Texas routes in TS.
