I've always been curious. The gravel pups, Marc has recreated, seem only to be in the western part of the United States. Why are these used versus a regular semi gravel trailer? Are they used due to tight winding hilly roads or some other reason to fit the conditions in the western states? Are the gravel pups articulated? !*don-know!*

Here in California truck's are not allowed to have more than five axel's. That's why you never see "Roadtrains" or truck's with double trailers. I've seen them in Nevada and Arizona.(below)

First post indicates "WIP", but don't expect the models to be perfect - just a representation. *!rolleyes!*

Finished the T800 daycab (still needs texture tweaks):

Very nice job marc! With the belly dump trailers will you also be doing longer versions with multiple axles which seem to be more common?

Yeah... I dern near got kilt by one of those things a couple of times, when I first moved to Nevada. Now when I go back to CA, the trucks seem small.

Those are nice Marc.

Are these trucks and trailers functional or mere static props?

I can see why the guy that owns the two new Kenworths has to live in that rather decrepit building. :D
Very nice quality. Not just well detailed models but a touch of reality. That reality is too often left out of otherwise fine models, then they look bad despite their details.

The trucks and trailers above are static, but traffic versions are easy enough. Since the trucks and trailers are centered over their connection points, however, overall centering (plus "spin" texturing on the wheels) is needed. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. *!embar*!
