Outstanding. Make a United Van Line trailer to go with the tractor, and we be set. !!*ok*!!

Great looking rig Marc...
All you need now is a K110 Aerodyne, but all white like the one I had in the '90's.

Again, very nice

Looking great, so how will it be released, in a large pack of trucks and cars, or just the truck?

I think it would look real nice beside my Freightliners, and Macks.

Thanks guys. Model's done, but the textures need a few tweaks and some variation. Right now I'm putting the finishing touches on a T800 and an IH Transtar II. I'm also itching to get a W900 and some Petes done, but that will have to wait 'til later. :D

Bob - What does a K110 look like - is it simply a big-cab version of the K100? I'm having a tough time coming up with photos.

BTW, does anyone know if the text on traffic vehicles is reversed? (It was in Rail Simulator and early RW.)

Marc, (XDriver)

Yeah, I stand corrected. I must have 'double-typed' the model number and didn't notice that I had (K100 v. K110). In the short version, the bunk started right behind the seats.

The significant difference... the larger bodied model had an additional 12/18" between the seats and the 30" deep bunk. If you examine the pic, the bunk occupies the space between the rear wall and (approximately) the rear rail of the 'grab bars'. The grab bars being equal to the (stand-up) space behind the seats and the bunk. The dog house still ran from the dash to the front wall of the bunk (exterior 'side boxes' below).

This created two separate (stand-up) spaces on either side of the dog house. The right (passenger) side stand-up space allowed access to a very small fridge on the floor, at the bottom of the (manufacturer's) 'shelf stack'. However, the fridge partially intruded into the right 'side box' space.

One could stand on the dog house and look straight out the upper windshield. Which was also set further back on the large bodied model. The whole Aerodyne concept was to allow extra 'upper space' to facilitate an additional bunk. Which made these tractors popular with furniture and team crews. Frequently referred to as 'condos'.

The 'wind deflectors' mounted on the side of the body, at the rear near the exhaust stack, tended to make the body look larger/longer than it actually was.

All in all... not a bad living space, properly accessorized, for a few weeks of interstate camping. And really comfortable for a solo driver.

WOWSER. My truck lettering company installed decals on a couple of United Van Line movers in the area and you have the logo spot on.
Nice to see this quality of work coming down the line.
