Budd RDC's Now Available

Unread postby GreatNortherner » Tue Aug 12, 2014 9:48 am

Hi,

The New Haven Budd RDC's that have been previewed in the VNHRR Springfield Line thread are now available at Trains and Drivers.

They come in two add-on packs, one featuring the passenger carrying RDC's (RDC-1, -2 and -3), and one featuring the mail- and express-only RDC-4. Each car is available in DuMaine and McGinnis era liveries and a number of extra options.

More info, pictures, manuals and of course the add-ons are available here: http://trains-and-drivers.net/

Or follow the recent developments of the RDC's at our Blog here: http://vnhrr.blogspot.de/

Prices include the German VAT of 19%, which applies only to customers in the EU.

Hi,

Phase-2 Budd RDC's are now also in development. The exterior model is almost complete. Here's it in GN colors, the solitary RDC that the GN owned and which worked services on the Butte Division.

A new NH RDC Repaint (well, a bit of new mapping work was required to wrap the zebra stripes around the nose). Now we're hoping that TS15 won't require us to make any changes on the models, if it won't these can be released shortly.

We posted a couple of videos during the beta testing phase. Some minor tweaks were made on the models after the videos were uploaded, but overall they show the units in the game quite nicely:

A B&M pack is in production, and it's going to be a big one too with RDCs 1, 2, 3, and 9, McGinnis and Minuteman paint schemes all included.

Cheers
