I'm not a fan of Gensets cuz I like my locos with big engines and not three little ones. But I had to just say that the models look great and thanks for bringing it to Railworks cuz variety of locos is good for the sim community. !!*ok*!!

Wil you be putting this on steam? Do you have a contract agreement? Or are you releasing this on your own? I'm excited now !**duh*!!

This model will be released as a DTM model on steam with scenarios for Pacific Surfliner route. No release date yet.

By the way...this thread should be placed on PAyware announcements & screenshots. Could any moderator move it there please?

Awesome looking model. I love the working rain flaps on the exhaust.
How do the other engines cut in? Is it to do with the load on the first engine?

I´m afraid I will disapoint you. It is just a cosmetic trick. The animations, exhausts and controller lights will show up (or activate) acording to a determinated RPM value to create the illusion of engines starting up one by one.

That wouldn't be prototypical for UP but most other variants yes it would be. Hopefully they are included only with the prototypical roads. Dont want flashing ditch lights on UP locomotives...we don't want another repeat of the UP heritage units *!embar*!

Also the NS heritage units DO have flashing ditch lights along with most of Ian's locos and SMM's Dash8 !*salute*!

Just to say that up does indeed have flashing ditch lights.

Not on any of their mainline locomotives that go through the mid-West.

No they don't. Just a few of the ex-SP units do.
