In some of the pictures Ive found, the Santa Fe class owned by the BLE have "conventional" tenders along with the Vanderbilt's. Are there conventional tenders included with the package or is it just the Vanderbilt?

From what I've read only 0-6-0 "six coupled" has 2 tender versions. The as "delivered" standard tender and the modified slope back tender. The 2-10-2 "Santa Fe" class with only the Vanderbilt tender but will have 2 different types of lettering.

Ah, two types of lettering, that was what confused me/ lead to my question. Thanks John.

I didnt think it was possible to mix tenders with engines of different makers... I need to investigate.

Does anyone have access to a B&LE timetable from this period? Would love to have a scanned copy.

Harry, I’ve been looking everywhere.....
The timetables in question would be between 60-70.
I’d like a copy too......

There are timetables on eBay if you want to buy one. Pricey though.

True, but not for the time period of this route - 1920’s. I know, I’ve plowed thru each and every ad. If there was one there, I’d have already bought it.

Are there any museums or historical societies that feature BLE? Maybe one can reach out to them and ask for a copy of a '20s timetable.

Found a 1921 B&LE Passenger Timetable in a PDF file.... i’ll have to translate it over to a spreadsheet format for easy reading. Found a Western Allegheny RR passenger timetable from 1927 so we know a probable Queen Junction Pa timing. Found a Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburgh RR passenger timetable circa 192? With times at Butler Pa.

It’s a start...we can build it out from there....

Still need B&O RR times at Butler, Erie RR times at Greenville, Osgood, Meadville Junction, etc., and PRR at Greenville and Butler.

There were also various general freight turns, Butler Turn, Greenville Turn, etc., but need timings for these too...

This is a photo of a 1938 timetable that Jim Friedland took during a visit to the Greenville Railroad Museum. The left side is southbound and 'f' means flag stop. Everything south of North Bessemer is the Union RR, and Cranesville is where the road branches to Erie in one direction and Conneaut in the other. No idea how the schedule might differ from the 1920s.

There is a 1916 one on eBay, may be a little closer for those interested.
