SP #3100 is the only one that runs. And is certified to run off museum grounds on the nation's railroads. A second U25B is being restored to run at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, IL. That is MILW #5056. And it will be restored to run excursions on the museum grounds.

Hi all,

Sorry for the lack of updates, time to get you all up to speed!

Since we last spoke things have changed somewhat and so far with have provisionally come up with the following outlines:

- U25B in Burlington Northern or Great Northern with scenarios on Marias Pass.
- A caboose.
- Some rolling stock (box cars or tanks?).
- Refurbished cab/AAR KC 108 type stand/electronics (because we don't have enough HQ photos/measurements to do the original type cab as accurately as the KC 108).

Anyone with suggestions for rolling stock / cabooses please feel free to post them with their technical names.

We are scheduled to released this in early Q2 2013.

Thanks,
Ooveecouk

well since its going to be in BN paint I would suggest a BN fuel tanker which was placed usually between the lead and second unit on the head end of the train; this would really give some interesting scenarios. also it would be nice to have some 60ft boxcars seeing as the only 60ft car in game is the default one and is very sub par to the current standards of RW. (BN had many 60ft boxcars)

Since they are asking for input, why not one of each?

Ok, I'm going to ask why they did that.

Interesting. - Did they use the tanker car for additional fuel on long trips? If so, would they have done this in the era the UB's were operating?
