Very nice work so far! I assume these will be scaled to the GEVO's made by RSC?

How would you feel if they were scaled to the right size?

Depends on who scaled them right. RSC or Ian. !!det!! I'd probably say whoever scales them right get the plus. *!greengrin!*

RSC did not scale them correctly.

The dimensions are measured out by the foot frorm tip to tip and side to side. and top to bottom. based on scaled drawing. I always use trainiax drawings, but I had to use the painted ones floating around on the internet plus the trainiax scaled ES44-AC drawings to make sure they are correct which they were. I do not scale based on RSC models or DTG. I scale based on prototypical drawings and online data. This isnt the first locomotive Ive done btw. I adjusted the length to reflect the tier 4 which is 74 ft 6 inches. and all the necessary body changes including radiator and exhaust stack heights. some things are eyeballed based on pics and scale I do as good of a job as any when it comes to eyeballing things. Most of the cab interior is based on my perception of what I see in pics.

as you can see I updated the stack and the old stack off to the side. I plan to have that available to those who want to swap them out. they are snap on basically. exactly the same base I will make sure they line up exactly when you want to add as a child object or something. The cab is also completely done and you can see glimpses of it.

This is looking quite awesome, and I'm by far no GE fan!!!

What exactly is the baking process when it comes to 3D models? !*don-know!*
