I think both are justifiable emergency stops. Just don't let the trainmaster catch you... !*cheers*!

No need to worry about that, gentlemen, our train stops where ever you want it to. Want to get out at Hopewell Road? Or at the second curve past Borgman Mine? Just tell the conductor and he'll stop the train for you. If you want to hop on somewhere out in the wilderness, just stand next to track and waive your handkerchief at the approaching passenger train and the engineer will stop to pick you up.

And if you ARE the engineer, well, nobody knows what you and your crew are doing out there in the woods anyway. Just stop the dern train but don't forget to bring a fish or some whisky to the station agent at Howesville and he won't tell that you just made the train in the other direction wait for half an hour at the only passing siding north of Tunnelton.

A quick new status report: we're still bugfixing the route, but the end is in sight!

Wonderful Route, and with the quality you would expect from Great Northerner!

I tripped over one minor problem... I left Tunnelton on the downgrade with the brakes partially set and dynamic brakes set about 50%. I was updating my computer and I had to reboot, so I saved the scenario.

When I loaded the scenario from the save, the brake settings had not been saved and had a runaway train!

Could someone else please confirm that this is something with not saving the brake settings or was it something I did?

Thanks

Alex
