Note that I did say cart, not the RDC humming away at the platform. *!!wink!!*

I believe Marc was reffering to the hand cart next to the station... not the RDC.

BTW... Thanx Marc... Michael already has the freight house in the sim.

The cart does add a nice touch of scenery.

That's one of the minor details that really marks this as New Haven territory. All of the small stations that still had agents had one or two of these, as did a few of the larger stations. Well done!

Somehow, I'd managed to miss this thread until today. Let me second all the compliments you've received and add my usual request to route builders: please use only short markers on any and all yard and spur tracks, thus allowing scenario writers such as myself to make full use of those tracks for both player and AI switching operations. By "short", I mean long enough to be seen easily in both 2d and 3d views (not those nearly invisible dashlets that appear in Allaboard routes, just to cite an example that comes to mind) ... the equivalent of the length of a typical steam engine and tender or three typical freight cars is ideal for me.

Thanks and good building,

Tom Pallen

Hey Mike,

Now that the holidays are behind us, more attention will be paid to the route. Michael and myself, both got caught up with the holidays and other obligations.

A recent 'meeting of the minds' put us at aproximately 80/90 percent complete on the first leg. That being the NH Springfield facilities, West Springfiled's BA Yard, the Mainline to Windsor Locks, the Suffield Spur with its secondary spur to Bradley Field through the military reservation enroute to the Hamilton Standard manufacturing facility.

Hang in there... we're still plugging away.

More progress...

The basic scenery is now almost done for version 1, so progress on the route and objects has been good lately. Rolling stock is a different story though. *!sad!*

I recognize downtown Springfield. Spent 3-4 hours waiting for a train to Burlington Vermont.
Really hope this one makes it to the masses. So many routes having problems delaying completion.
I wish all route builders good luck. !!*ok*!!

I thought I had been keeping up with this, but apparently I have been very remiss in my duties *!lol!* The screenies on the blog are excellent - the route has a great look and feel. While not proto, Mike Rennie's Consolidation will do great on this route. A beautiful project and I hope we get to enjoy it before too long...

!*cheers*!
