The dash8CW is a free upgrade for exisiting buyers of the widecab pack. and the BNSF version will be included with the seattle route.

I always make youtube videos of new stuff and the dash 8 will certainly be showcased on youtube like the rest.

Update on this well...update lol. I have just finished baking the cab textures, which looks very cool and sharp. I am going to assemble the cabview tonight, and see how it looks in the game with all the shaders. i will post a pic or two of it to show you all. Hopefully I will get some time to start some of the anims as well. tomorrow I will finish up the anims/ and most of the blueprint work and give it a dry run with a youtube vid. The following day I am hoping to tie up the blueprint work for the cab. Friday I will run it on the line for full operation and then I'll hopefully release it friday night or saturday. All of this really hinges on what I get done tonight. The cab baking takes the longest time everything else is a breeze after. The only thing that might hold me up is the computer animations which have a lot of detail to them.

id say im about 90% done here since the cab work was finally finished.

As promised it is a free update for those who have the old pack, there will only be an NS version. I will be adding a dash8 unit for the seattle route that is slightly different. If I do any other repaints for this pack they will be for a nominal fee but I will include scenarios with them to enhance the fun factor.

Also there will be a CN dash8C repaint pack with a bunch of CN variations, plus a bunch of scenarios included to be released on friday this week(hopefully). This pack is payware by request of the authors of the scenarios and repaints. the fee will be nominal and i'll figure it out by the end of the week.

Once I get the wide cab unit done i'll be able to finish up the seattle sub over the next month.

So Im running slightly behind on my dash8w release. My grandmother passed away this past wed from a stroke and funeral was yesterday. So basically starting to get back on track today.

the cab is in the exterior model now which completes the exterior aspect of the project, The interior was successfully imported into the game and now I have all the usual anims created and ready for export. I do not have computer set yet which leaves me about a day behind. I havent done digit animations in over a year now so i figure I might as well learn how to create the headlightflare effect before I release it or maybe wait to put it on the BNSF unit included in the seattle route. I dont see any documentation on how to do it. So I need to ask around. Can anyone help me with this?

Ok, after a minor set back im getting pretty close. I just need to put in the digits for the brake pressures and the whole thing is done.
