Nathan's not doing this !!bang!! No but on a serious note, no new update. This has been on hold for quite a while as I've been helping out Anthony and we have started on yet another DLC (to be announced) that took priority. The AC4400CW will follow at some point but I have no set release date and rather work as I feel.

Well why start a new project when you're already working on one.

Because this is my favourite engine and I've always wanted to do it even before Nathan brought up the idea about the AC44.

What is it? The SD40-2 that's on your guy's facebook? Or something else that's a secret.

Well it would be nice to get an updated version of an SD40-2. With more features, like a more functional cab or something like that. It would be really cool if you could open a door and go out side on the long hood and open the cabinet doors and manually start the locomotive like IRL.

Did you see all the pics I've posted lately? That's pretty much what we're doing, modeling the entire thing including the entire interior (prime mover, compartment rack etc...) but I'll start a thread some other time about it since this one's specifically for the AC44.

Well it's just going slow, patience is the key. And there are other things coming out soon, so it's not like we are having a dry spell of DLC.

Untill I decide to put her out of storage. I'm not trying to sound mean but If you don't appreciate the quality and time that goes into the creation of a model, despite maybe a few similar ones out there already (which are basically all a joke), then simply don't buy it. There's not a whole lot of people here that truely put their heart into what they do, spending months, heck even years into just one thing, with the only purpose to put a happy face on every future customer that is going to buy it, just like that happy face this thing put on you, back when you had the pleasure of modeling it.

Kevin and I have been working with other members of the community on something which will make future DLC made by Searchlight and Oovee very realistic. It's just a matter of getting things to work and testing right now. In the mean time, wait for Kevin to finish his stunning 40-2.
