Hmm, I had to use 11-22% on the Penn Coal Route with two units to keep within the speed limit. I didn't count cars but I think about 65 100 tonners.

I installed dynamic brake and physics mod from FanRailer:
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... ccessories

It works like a charm, and dynamic brake now operating in all usable range

Ian, wouldn't you mind to include FanRailer's engine physics ,when you'll release service pack?

I can certainly do that as long as I'm allowed to... I will download this when I get home on lunch and take a look at it! thank you.

Ive already employed your headfix and adding this will round out the serivce pack already since those were the things I was going to work on. I still have a couple other things to do such as computer controls once I get the video from anthony wood.

I think pulling power is OK , but dynamic brake is overpowered - I applied 3%-10% and it was enough on 1,8% downgrade of Horseshoe west slope

also I'm going to do some youtube clips, to boost Eyein's sales !!*ok*!!

Has anybody but the author got this scenario to work? !*don-know!*
Also a little advice. For a much more realistic appearance, Add " Replacement Buckeye" couplers to Eyein's rolling stock, especially the locomotives.

I had to do some tinkering because the sounds would cut out. the RPMs had to be adjusted since that was what we went off of originally for the sounds to be displayed. I adjusted the simulation file with the data that I found on the website included. It works fine now and has more pulling power.

Ok I updated this pack. its now service pack 1 just download and install over the previous. the cabwork will be in the next service pack.

This service pack addresses:

-braking and throttle physics fixed to coincide more correctly with the sounds; more power with still some struggle
-fixed quick drive mode, locos appear in the quick drive list as seperate entities
-fixed blueprint aliasing errors
-included wagon sound blueprint location, however the WJ sounds from walter (krellnut) Jaeske still need to be downloaded from
railworks america.com
-fixed coupler lengths(shortened them)
-fixed the offending white numberboards paint scheme on the first NS engine. No longer a white unibrow.

thanks for the update

still some problems with engine controls:
-throttle doesn't work from keyboard
-state of train controls not saved during session save. after restoring scenario, emergency brake always applied, which leads to undesirable stop and brake recharge.

Hello! I recently picked up the SD80/9043 pack. They look absolutely wonderful! I was wondering though... Is there a way to modify the 9043 into the original SD90? Or SD90-H as I think UP called them? I was tinkering with the xml files but I know very little about this kinda thing and I was hoping to simply modify the engine characteristics after copying the locomotive and an SD90 as well as a 9043.

Maybe a Fan Railer esque physics pack that allows the SD9043 and SD90-H physics to be swapped along with swappable roadnumbers (if applicable)

I know. Fan has made MP36 and F125 physics for the F59PH although engine is different
