The pack is completed as of right now I was going to release it by tonight. I'll release this and do an update that plays with the controls and adds more to the cab. I wanted to make that computer interactive but I dont know what the other screens are.

All ya gotta do is ask! I can help you out with that, since I frequently use the other screens at work.

Hey guys,

I just released it. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

There will be a service pack in a couple weeks to add more functions to the computer system. As of right now the computer displays all the stats like you would expect but I want to add more interactive functions to the layout.

heres the dimlight fix. that's what you were describing I overlooked that in the BPE. as for the high resistance I'll work on that with the upcoming service pack.

thanks

one more thing:

-reverser handle works the opposite way
-when throttle used from keyboard (A/D keys), throttle position on HUD display (F4) doesn't change

I fixed the reverser animation and the dimlight its in 1 download with the pack. No other fixes will be made until the service pack is released. If you want the reverser fix re-download the file from my blog. those in the future need not worry about these two issues.

These are very nice locomotives Ian, thank you, I like the hornsound, very haunting in the darkness of night, quite spooky...... *!greengrin!*

The engines look and run fantastic. I like the way they don't take off like a jack rabbit. The Trinity covered hoppers are very sharp.
Sort of miss the Heads-Out view from the cab, as I use that a lot. Will put many miles on these guys.
Thanks for your work. !!*ok*!!

Headout view fix
Coordinates are exactly at driver's head level (I copied them from driver's eye coordinates from Cabview.xml)

copy it into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\EYEIN12\ORLANDO\RAILVEHICLES\Diesel\SD80(90)MAC\NS\CABVIEW
unpack and override existing SD80MAC headout.bin, SD80MAC headout.xml

also, delete Blueprints.bak in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\EYEIN12\ORLANDO
(or other folder where your game installed)
and restart the game

also, everyone can make own non-standard headout position
edit X,Y,Z coordinates in headout.xml . they are in meters, and notation is different from 3D geometry standards
X - offset from centerline of the loco to the left side (negative) or right side (positive).
Y - height
Z - length offset from center point of the loco. positive - towards the cab end, negative - towards the rear end.

I uploaded scenario for Horseshoe curve, to test traction characteristics and dynamic brakes of SD80MAC with 13,000 tonn coal train

I think pulling power is OK , but dynamic brake is overpowered - I applied 3%-10% and it was enough on 1,8% downgrade of Horseshoe west slope

viewtopic.php?f=30&t=12946

also I'm going to do some youtube clips, to boost Eyein's sales !!*ok*!!
